How much do you want to walk? How many hours, how much elevation? Is it a day for a stroll and a picnic or epic, Lord of the Rings stye quest? This list is all about hilly ones. For those who want to be bagging specific peaks.. then I have helpfully colour coded them as so:
Munro – Mountains in Scotland that are at least 3,000 feet high (approximately 914) metres. I have a guide to my ‘easy Munros‘ to get you started.
Corbett – Mountain peak between 2500 feet and 3000 feet high (762-914 meters): originally used of Scotland only, but now sometimes extended to other parts of the British Isles
Fiona – Mountains in Scotland between 2000 and 2500 feet high (610 – 762 meters) , with at least 150 metres of descent on all sides
There are many more than those listed here. These are some of the ones I have done since starting. I will write up a post for all of them. Where I have one, I have linked to my video walk report while I do the write ups. Bear with me while I do so. This may take some time…
